The Guthrie High School boys basketball program is bringing back the alumni basketball game. The game will be held Wednesday, December 26th at 6 p.m. inside the GHS gymnasium. Admission is $5 for adults, including players, and $3 for youth. All proceeds go to support Bluejay Basketball.
The Guthrie Football program will hold their annual banquet in early January to celebrate the 2018 football season.
Guthrie High School standout golfer Luke Morgan’s stock continues to rise in the Oklahoma junior golf ranks. With the Thanksgiving break off from school, Morgan is in the state of Illinois for two unofficial visits with official visits coming soon.
Idae Alexander leads the way for Kai Callins in the 2013 game against Collinsville. The game was played in Sapulpa.
When many high school sports fans hear Collinsville High School, they immediately think of the wrestling program and their dominance, but the Cardinals’ football program is building momentum.

Guthrie High School’s girls and boys cross country teams qualified for the Class 5A state tournament after their performance at the regional held in Norman. The state meet will take place at Edmond Santa Fe (Saturday, October 27) with the girls starting at 10 a.m. and the boys following at 10:45 a.m.
The Guthrie Lady Jays got out of several jams in the first five innings on Thursday, but Piedmont rallied in the final two innings to eliminate Guthrie from the Class 5A Fast-Pitch Softball State Tournament.
