Prestigious accolades continue to roll in for Missouri linebacker Kentrell Brothers. On Wednesday, the Guthrie product was named to an All-America team and again on Thursday was selected as a first team All-American list.
Brothers, who finished the regular season with more tackles than any other D-1 player with 152, was named to the CBS Sports 2015 College Football All-America team. A panel of college football writers, analysts and experts from CBS selected the team.
Sports Illustrated released their 2015 All-America team and selected Brothers as one of their four top linebackers.
On Tuesday, Brothers was named to the USA TODAY All-America Second Team.
Along with his nation leading 152 tackles, Brothers finished with two interceptions and a forced fumble for the Tigers.

Brothers is the all-time leading receiver for catches and yards for a season and a career in Guthrie football history. He was the first BlueJay to collect a 1,000 yards receiving. In addition, he was among the elite in sacks in both his junior and senior years in the state and has more sacks than any other player in Guthrie history.
