Guthrie High School welcomed seven new members into the Guthrie High School Hall of Fame during Homecoming week.

Coming off the Class 5A state championship in May, members of the Guthrie High School boy’s golf team did not rest on their accomplishment with multiple golfers racking up top finishes this summer.
After sophomore Luke Morgan walked off from hole 54 of the Class 5A state golf tournament, he quickly began adding up his score. Soon after, smiles and high fives were being dished out as the Guthrie Bluejays knew they were about to hoist the state championship trophy.

The Guthrie Junior High boys and girls team finished their season last week with the Lady Jays taking second in the Perkins tournament.
Luke Morgan claimed third place in Ardmore, while the Guthrie High School boys golf team finished as the highest Class 5A club. The Jays played 18 holes at Dornick Hills and 18 holes at Lakeview. Morgan, a sophomore, shot a 74 at Dornick and a 71 at Lakeview.
The Guthrie Lady Jays golf team qualified for the 5A state championship after a top three performance in regionals.
Earlier this month, Guthrie High School senior golfer Sarah Rhinehart captured first place in the Suburban Conference and third overall in the Lady Titan Invitational.
The Guthrie High School golf team recently traveled to Meadowlake Golf Course in Enid to take part in the 6A West Regional Preview Tournament.
