The 17th annual Annual Guthrie Bluejay Football Youth Camp was held on May 2-3.
Guthrie’s Carley Redus and Alize Gibson qualified for the 5A state tennis tournament in Oklahoma City. The duo, playing in the No. 1 doubles competition, dropped their first match against Carl Albert, 6-2, 6-1. The Lady Jays will next go up against Ardmore in the second round.

Luke Morgan claimed third place in Ardmore, while the Guthrie High School boys golf team finished as the highest Class 5A club. The Jays played 18 holes at Dornick Hills and 18 holes at Lakeview. Morgan, a sophomore, shot a 74 at Dornick and a 71 at Lakeview.
