Guthrie hosting the Super Saturday event defended their home court against the Harrah Panthers, pulling out the 48-27 blowout.

A tight first quarter was entertaining for the fans as Kentrell Brothers scored three of the first five points for Guthrie as the Blue Jays took an early 9-8 lead to end the first quarter.

The Blue Jays defense came out on fire in the third quarter. They held the Panthers without a field goal for 7:30 seconds from the second quarter into the third quarter. Guthrie pushed the 10 point lead out to 18 before Harrah would get points at the charity stripe.

Harrah cut it to 15 with 2:44 left in the third quarter but after Brothers and Codee Gross pushed it back to 18 at the end of the third quarter, the Panthers seemed sunk.  Ethan Welton hit a basket with 32 seconds remaining in the third quarter to end the field goal drought.

The fourth quarter was a free throw practice quarter for the Blue Jays. Guthrie went to the line nine times in the quarter. converting on four of the attempts.
