The Guthrie Lady Jays softball season will begin on the road, in Shawnee, August 12th.
Newly hired head coach Shelley Berryman's team will have 24 regular season games and will compete in three tournaments.
The Lady Jays first tournament will be the Tuttle Tournament in the first week of the season and the following week Guthrie will travel to Perry for a tournament. The other tournament will take place in Shawnee in the end of August.
Guthrie once again will compete in the Suburban Conference with Carl Albert, Shawnee, Noble, Piedmont, Noble, Western Heights, Harrah, Deer Creek, and El Reno. Guthrie, Western Heights, Piedmont, El Reno, and Deer Creek will play in the North Division.
Guthrie will play Kingfisher and NW Classen outside of conference and tournament play. The Lady Jays are scheduled for nine tournament games, eight road games, and seven home games in the regular season.
The Lady Jays Senior Night is scheduled September 22nd against the Yellow Jackets of Kingfisher.
