Random thoughts as practice is underway
Guthrie BlueJay football is officially underway with practice and the season opener is less then a month away.

Jays begin practice in cool temp's
The 2009 high school football season officially kicked off with practice, Tuesday morning, across the state.

The Guthrie Lady Jay softball team opened up the 2009 season, on the road, in Harrah to begin the Brian Jackson era.

KSBI-52, Thunder TV, released their television package for the upcoming 2009 high school football season and to no surprise the Guthrie BlueJays have been picked up.

 

Guthrie's games with Ardmore, October 2nd, and Carl Albert, October 15th, will be seen across the state of Oklahoma. Both games will be played inside Jelsma Stadium. GSP Radio banner

 

Robert Allen, Bob Cortese, and Chris Johnson make up the broadcast team for KSBI-52.

 

Triple Play Sports Radio will have the radio call for all BlueJay games and can be found on 105.1 FM. Fans can bring their radio head sets and listen to the games both home and away.

 

Guthrie Sports Page will also stream all games live and will have the play back of that game on both Wednesday and Sunday nights starting at 7:00.
