Guthrie, Okla. -- The Guthrie boys basketball team made it two wins over Harrah in four days on the home floor. The Tuesday evening win was special as the Jays played their last regular season game inside the high school gymnasium.

The Jays improved to 15-7 with a dominating 71-27 win over the Panthers. Guthrie concludes the regular season, Friday evening, when they travel to Chickasha.

The BlueJay defense proved to be huge, once again, by holding Harrah to 27 points. Guthrie got their first win over Harrah, Saturday afternoon, (48-27) on Super Saturday.

Five seniors were honored before the game including Devon Hall, BJ McDonald, Jay Henry, Chaunsey Dumas, and Chelsea Dumas. The five combined for 41 points and were named the Farmers and Merchants Players of the Game.

Hall finished with a game high 19 points with junior Kentrell Brothers chipping in with 18.

Guthrie jumped out to a 17-8 first quarter lead and a 35-13 advantage at the half before turning it on in the second half to outscore the Panthers 36-14.
