Allyson Chadd Guthrie’s Allyson Chadd recently finished as first runner-up in the Miss Lafee Prom contest after 15 days of online voting. Despite finishing one step from the top prize, Chadd will come away nicely.

Gary Boxley inducted into Hall of Fame
Gary Boxley Guthrie High School's athletic director and track coach was named to the Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Boxley becomes the first person from Guthrie to be inducted into the hall. Boxley and Clay Tarter led the Guthrie Track program to their first state championship. Boxley graduated from Kingfisher HS where he still holds the pole vault record.
